mission
At Me2, we are dedicated to empowering, equipping, and creating momentum for Black and Brown boys. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support through mentoring, violence intervention and reduction, financial literacy education, health and wellness initiatives, and our Scholarship Collegiate 2000 program. We believe in the boundless potential of every young man and are committed to fostering an environment where they can thrive, lead, and inspire positive change in their communities. Together, we are building a brighter future, one boy at a time.
At ME2, we envision a world where every young Black and Brown boy possesses the confidence, resources, and support needed to thrive and succeed in all aspects of life. Our vision is to cultivate a generation of leaders who are not only prepared to navigate the challenges of the modern world but are also equipped to positively influence their communities and create lasting change.
We aim to dismantle the barriers that limit potential by providing a robust support system that includes mentoring, violence intervention, financial literacy education, health and wellness initiatives, and access to scholarship opportunities. Through our comprehensive approach, we are dedicated to fostering resilience, enhancing personal growth, and ensuring that each young man has the tools to reach his full potential.
ME2 aspires to be a beacon of empowerment and an incubator for future leaders, where young men are inspired to dream big, act with integrity, and commit to lifelong learning and service. Together, we are building a brighter future—one boy at a time

VISION
Black male students have a high school graduation rate of approximately 69%, which is significantly lower than the national average for all students, which stands at about 85%.
Black youth, especially males, experience higher rates of unemployment compared to their white counterpart. Black males aged 16-19 was approximately 25%, compared to around 14% for young white males of the same age group
Black males aged 15-34 are 20 times more likely to die from gun-related homicides than their white counterparts. This rate not only highlights a critical public health crisis but also underscores the urgent need for effective violence intervention and prevention strategies targeted at young Black males in vulnerable communities.
Among Black boys, those who lack a mentor report fewer interactions with individuals who could provide support, guidance, and access to opportunities, compared to their peers who have mentors.
Meet Our Founder
Bianca M. Crawford experienced much pain, abuse and trauma all of her childhood and into her early adulthood. She thought the her life would be nothing but pain & trauma.
She was born to a teenage mom and from that moment she was labeled a statics and failure. She spent her childhood trying to fight the stereotypes that had been attached to her at birth.
Bianca experienced homelessness; molestation; rape; abuse; abandonment and pain all by the age of 8. She wouldn't allow that to stop her so she continued to fight.
Education was her outlet; graduating high school a year early; and accepted to 22 different colleges and universities but her struggle wouldn't stop there. She fought to get to college where she had the worse experiences. She was a victim of domestic violence; homelessness; and struggling trying to pay for school and graduate.
Meet Our COO
David Crawford Jr. serves as the COO and Board President of ME2, bringing with him a profound personal history that deeply enriches his commitment to the organization’s mission. David’s life began under harrowing circumstances; as a newborn, he narrowly escaped an attempt on his life by his mother. His resilient grandparents, despite their advanced ages of 62 and 67, took custody of him, ensuring his safety and nurturing his growth. Tragically, three years later, his grandfather passed away, leaving David and his grandmother to face the world together.
Raised in the challenging environment of the Buckeye area, David confronted numerous obstacles, including violence and the pervasive influence of street gangs. His life was threatened on multiple occasions, including being shot at three times and surviving an assassination attempt by a gang, which forced him to leave school. Undeterred by these formidable challenges, David’s indomitable spirit led him to obtain his GED and subsequently pursue higher education at American Baptist College, where he earned a degree in Pastoral Care and Communication.
David has become a pillar in his community and a beacon of hope to many. Over the past 12 years, he has significantly contributed to the success of Motivated and Empowered Inc. as a director, demonstrating exceptional leadership and compassion. In addition to his role at ME2, David is a Funeral Liaison at Lucas Memorial Chapel, and Founding Pastor of Joy of Christ Community Church.
